ABOUT THE POETS

Aisha Sasha John is a poet and a dancer. Her most recent publication is the chapbook Gimme yr little quiet (BookThug 2012). She is also the author of The Shining Material (BookThug 2011) and the curator of the online gallery BOOM FOR REAL (http://hugetime.tumblr.com/). Her current work-in-progress is called the The Book of You.

 

Carina Löf is a chiropractor, acupuncturist, urban forager and nutrition consultant, step mom, and meditation instructor. currently she spends her time with her work, tending her backyard gardens, foraging for wild things, being with her family and blogging. she's interested in the ephemeral, slide projectors, conflicting interfaces, faces, and forests.
 

Soraya Peerbaye is a poet whose first collection, Poems for the Advisory Committeeon Antarctic Names, was nominated for the Gerald Lampert Award. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Guelph. She is completing her second manuscript, Tell, based on her thesis, a collection of poems in response to the 1997 murder of Reena Virk. She is also a student of flamenco, gardening and birding.
